The Department of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS), under the Ignite Forum, achieved remarkable success during the premier annual fest Insight 2026 by winning the Overall Championship Trophy in the Cultural wing. Competitions were held across various college venues, with active participation from CSBS students in all major cultural events.

The objective of the participation was to showcase the creative abilities of CSBS students alongside their technical expertise. The department secured first place in “Stroke of Art” for visual storytelling and second place in singing competitions. Additionally, CSBS earned third-place positions in both Dance and MasterChef events, demonstrating excellence in group coordination and culinary innovation.

The cultural activities were organized and spearheaded by the Ignite Forum student leadership with guidance from faculty mentors. This achievement marked a historic milestone, as CSBS emerged as the only department to excel simultaneously in both cultural and athletic domains, fostering strong departmental pride and reinforcing a culture of multidisciplinary excellence.
