Aspire & Achieve: Roadmap to Become an Officer through MPSC & UPSC
A seminar on MPSC (Maharashtra Public Service Commission) and UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Examination Preparation was organized on January 19, 2026, at 3:15 p.m. in the Auditorium, Second Floor, Academic Block B for the second- and third-year students of the Civil Engineering Department. The objective of the seminar was to create awareness about prestigious civil services and state services examinations and to guide engineering students aspiring to build a career in public administration and government services also including the examination pattern, syllabus, eligibility criteria, and selection process.
The session was delivered by Mr. Chaitanya Bharat, Academic Director, CIAS, along with Ms. Anushree Gede, Expert, CIAS. The seminar comprehensively covered topics such as the structure and importance of civil services, differences between MPSC and UPSC examinations, various services offered under both commissions, examination patterns, preparation strategies, time management and study planning, and salary packages.
The session was highly informative and inspiring. Students actively participated and felt motivated to consider civil services as a potential career path.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Suyog U. Dhote and Prof. Rahit N. Bhosle. Ms. Lakshita Ganvir, a third-year student, served as the Master of Ceremony. Dr. Suyog Dhote motivated the students and delivered the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the seminar.
