The Department of Vocation, SVPCET successfully organized a guest lecture on “Career Growth in Cyber Security” on 17 January 2026. The session was conducted for 4th semester Cyber Security students to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry requirements.

The guest speaker, Mr. Kaushik Khobragade from ICEICO Technologies Pvt. Ltd., shared his industry experience and provided valuable insights into various career paths in Cyber Security such as Ethical Hacking, Network Security, Cloud Security, SOC Analyst roles, and Cyber Forensics. He emphasized the importance of technical skills, certifications, hands-on practice, and continuous learning in this rapidly evolving domain.

Mr. Khobragade also guided students on emerging trends, real-world challenges, internship opportunities, and the importance of professionalism and ethical practices in cyber security careers. The session was interactive, and students actively participated by asking questions related to career planning, skill development, and industry readiness.
