CHE (Cultivating Human Excellence) – Indore Chapter
On 12th November 2025, the Indore Chapter of Cultivating Human Excellence (CHE) was successfully conducted at St. Vincent Pallotti School, Indore, focusing on the theme “Empowering Minds and Hearts: Nurturing the Emotional Intelligence of Students.” The programme brought together educators, academic leaders, and school principals for an enriching dialogue on fostering emotional intelligence within the educational ecosystem.
The event saw the active participation of 125 educators along with 16 principals, reflecting the growing commitment of institutions towards holistic student development.
The keynote address was delivered by Mr. G. Balasubramaniam, Former Director (Academics), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. His thought-provoking session emphasized the need for strengthening emotional intelligence among learners and highlighted how educators can create nurturing and inclusive learning environments.
The programme also featured insightful expert sessions by two distinguished academic leaders Mrs. Bharti Bijwe, Principal, Sandipani School, Nagpur and Dr. Mrunalini Dasture, Principal, The South Public School, Nagpur.
Both sessions were highly appreciated for their practical relevance and depth. The resource persons engaged participants through interactive discussions, case-based insights, and real-time classroom applications.
Participants were also provided with worksheets, and several activities were conducted to demonstrate strategies for fostering emotional intelligence in day-to-day teaching. These hands-on components made the workshop dynamic, participatory, and deeply impactful.
Overall, the CHE Indore Chapter programme proved to be an excellent, knowledgeable, and enriching experience for all attendees. The event reinforced the importance of empowering both minds and hearts, enabling educators to better guide students in an emotionally responsive and balanced manner.
