The Department of Artificial Intelligence conducted an Orientation Program for 3rd semester students of the Academic Year 2025–26 on July 31, 2025, from 2:15 PM to 4:15 PM in classroom BS-04. The objective was to acquaint students with the department’s vision, academic environment, and various curricular and co-curricular initiatives.

Dr. Vikas Bhowate, Head of the Department, inaugurated the session with a welcome address. He highlighted the importance of skill development, industry exposure, and active participation in departmental activities for holistic growth and career readiness.

A detailed overview of the department’s achievements, future plans, and student-centric opportunities was presented. Students were introduced to faculty members, departmental events, and available academic and personal support systems.

To offer real-world perspective, alumni Mr. Lokesh Chauhan, Ms. Anshula Mendhe and Ms. Anushka Kaole addressed the gathering. They shared insights from their academic and professional journeys, offering practical advice on maximizing departmental resources for career advancement in AI and related fields.

The program also featured a senior-junior interaction session, where selected 3rd and final-year students shared experiences, project highlights, and tips for managing academics effectively. This fostered a spirit of peer learning and collaboration.

The orientation served as a focused and motivational platform, clearly outlining departmental expectations while encouraging active student engagement. It marked a strong start to the semester, reinforcing a sense of purpose and belonging among the students.
