Data Analysis and Astrology: Exploring Patterns Beyond Science

The Department of Information Technology at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, successfully organized a Guest Lecture Session on “Data Analysis and Astrology: Exploring Patterns Beyond Science” on 25th September 2025.

The session was conducted by Mr. Ashish Pipare, a multi-faceted professional—Innovator, Educator, Entrepreneur, and Technocrat from Clustor Computing, Nagpur. Drawing from his extensive experience as the founder of several technology-driven ventures, Mr. Pipare offered students a unique perspective on how data analysis techniques can be utilized to study patterns, correlations, and predictive models in the context of astrology.

He emphasized the importance of data collection, cleaning, and interpretation, illustrating how predictive modeling used in business analytics can also be mapped to astrological forecasts. The session captivated students by bridging science, statistics, and tradition, sparking curiosity and critical discussion.

The lecture concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students actively engaged with questions on the scope of data analytics, its reliability in non-traditional domains, and its multidisciplinary applications across industries.
