Engineers’ Day Celebrations at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur

The Innovation and Sustainability Summit 2025 was organized as part of the Engineers’ Day celebrations at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur on Saturday, 11th October 2025.

Dr. Atul Vaidya, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of LIT University, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest during the inaugural ceremony. In his address, Dr. Vaidya reflected on the visionary life of Sir M. Visvesvaraya, emphasizing his lifelong commitment to sustainable development. He urged students to adopt sustainable practices and recognize the importance of environmental responsibility in daily life and professional endeavors.

A key highlight of the summit was a Panel Discussion on “Engineering the Future – Integrating AI, IoT, and Sustainability for AatmaNirbhar Bharat.” Six eminent panelists from the fields of environment, technology, and sustainability shared their perspectives on how emerging technologies can accelerate India’s vision of AatmaNirbhar Bharat 2.0, fostering innovation-driven and environmentally conscious growth.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty members and over 1500 students, making it a grand success and a true celebration of engineering excellence, innovation, and sustainability for a self-reliant India.
