The Department of Electrical Engineering organized a one-day Industrial Training cum Visit for 7th semester Electrical Engineering students on 26th August 2025 at KEC International Limited, MIDC, Butibori. A total of 61 students participated in this visit.

The purpose of this training cum visit was to provide students with exposure to real-time industrial practices and technologies, highlight the importance of safety, quality, and efficiency, and help integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications. It also aimed to familiarize students with various career opportunities, the essential skills required in the industry, and to develop a better understanding of organizational structure and communication within an industrial environment.

This industry visit proved to be a valuable experience, enhancing students' understanding of actual industrial operations. It offered them an opportunity to interact with professionals and witness the implementation of classroom concepts in a practical setting. Students also gained insights into industry safety processes, communication techniques, and various technical and interpersonal skills essential for working in the industrial sector. Such visits are instrumental in preparing students for professional careers and strengthening the collaboration between academia and industry.

Dr. Prafull Madhukar Tarwatkar, Faculty Coordinator, Dr. Jyoti P. Rothe, HoD EE and Faculty Co-coordinator, Mr. Sanjay Waghmare, Lab Assistant accompanied the students during the visit.
