Two-Day Workshop on Flutter

The Department of Computer Engineering, in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter, successfully organized a two-day workshop on Flutter on 27th and 30th August 2024, exclusively designed for second-year students. On Day 1, Section A attended the session, while Day 2 was conducted for Section B.

The workshop was coordinated and delivered by third-year students — Mr. Parth Upadhye (Team Lead), Mr. Nakul Armarkar, Ms. Elasha Deoghare, and Mr. Rudraksha Asati, under the guidance of Prof. Pallavi Wankhede, ACM Officer Incharge and Mentor.

The agenda of the workshop included setting up the Flutter development environment, an introduction to the Dart programming language, and hands-on practice in building basic applications. Additionally, participants were introduced to the history, benefits, and significance of Flutter as a framework for creating cross-platform applications for both Android and iOS.

Throughout the sessions, students displayed enthusiasm, creativity, and active participation. The interactive format enabled real-time application of concepts, ensuring that participants left with a strong foundation in Flutter development.

The workshop was a resounding success, equipping students with practical skills and confidence to explore app development projects using this powerful cross-platform toolkit.
