The Department of Industrial Internet of Things organized a guest lecture for 7th semester students on 8th August 2025. The session was delivered by Dr. Neha Kasture from IIIT Nagpur on the topic "Predictive Maintenance using Machine Learning in IIoT."

The lecture focused on the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques to predict equipment failures, optimize maintenance schedules, and enhance industrial productivity. Dr. Neha shared practical insights and real-world case studies, and encouraged interactive discussions, helping students bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and industry practices.

The session was highly informative and engaging, significantly enhancing students’ understanding of emerging technologies in the IIoT domain.
