The Department of Vocation (B.VOC) at SVPCET, in collaboration with VEDIC – VIDIA Engineering Design Innovation Center, successfully conducted a month-long Certificate Course in Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking from 1st to 30th June 2025 for 3rd-semester Cyber Security students which was coordinated by Dr. Swati Mirlekar.

The course covered cyber security fundamentals, ethical hacking tools, real-time case studies, virus prevention, privacy protection, and hands-on simulated hacking labs.

All 10 participants gained valuable insights into cyber threats, prevention strategies, and the ethical responsibilities of cyber security professionals. Students appreciated the interactive and practical approach, which bridged the gap between academic knowledge and real-world challenges. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to fostering industry-ready, ethically grounded cyber security experts.
