The Department of Computer Engineering, in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter, successfully organized a Hands-on Workshop on Salesforce on 2nd August 2025. The resource person for the session was Mr. Sanjay Khajure, Senior Salesforce Developer at MindzCloud Technologies, Nagpur. The workshop was conducted over 4 hours (11:00 A.M. – 4:00 P.M.).

The primary objective of the workshop was to provide students with practical exposure to Salesforce technology, emphasizing its applications in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and cloud-based enterprise solutions.

A total of 60 students from the 2nd and 3rd year of the Computer Engineering Department actively participated in the session. The key topics covered were:

Overview of the Salesforce ecosystem

• User interface navigation
• Data modeling
• Workflows
• Automation using Process Builder
• Career opportunities in Salesforce development and administration

The session was effectively coordinated by Prof. Yogita Nikhare and Dr. Pallavi Wankhede, along with student coordinators Avantee Sarve (CSBS Dept.) and Amiya Bose (CE Dept.), supported by the ACM student team, whose dedicated efforts ensured a seamless and impactful learning experience.

This initiative not only enhanced students’ understanding of Salesforce as a leading CRM platform but also inspired them to pursue Salesforce certifications and careers in cloud technology.
