The ISHRAE Students Chapter, Department of Mechanical Engineering, was officially installed on 24th July 2025. The ceremony was led by Dr. Ashish Raut, President of the Nagpur ISHRAE Student Chapter, who also served as the chief guest for the event. The occasion was graced by Dr. Sushant S. Satputaley, HOD of Mechanical Engineering, along with other notable attendees, including Mr. Vikas Gajbhiye, Membership Chair; Mr. Bharat Kalambhe, Co-Program Chair; Mr. Devidas Shinde, President Elect; and Mr. Pratik Chandurkar, Treasurer.

During the ceremony, ten students took the oath of office, with Mr. Ritik Jaipurkar assuming the role of President. Mr. Timothy Paul was sworn in as the President Elect, Miss. Jiya Deshmukh as the Secretary, and Miss. Khushi Jaiswal as the Treasurer. Six other students were inducted as members of the chapter's working committee. Additionally, over 32 students signed up for ISHRAE membership.

The newly elected president assured that the members would be actively involved in various activities organized by ISHRAE from time to time. The function was presided over by Miss. Rashi Ingle, and Mr. Ritik Jaipurkar delivered the vote of thanks.

The event marked a significant milestone in the establishment of the ISHRAE Students Chapter and demonstrated the department's commitment to fostering professional development and leadership in the field of HVAC and related disciplines.
