The Department of Mechanical Engineering, under the Career Development Centre (CDC), organized a one-day industrial visit for 5th semester students to KEC International Ltd., Training Center, Butibori, Nagpur on 02nd August 2025. The visit aimed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices.

The session commenced at 9:30 AM with a brief introduction about KEC International, its global operations, and an overview of the manufacturing processes carried out at their facilities.Presentations were delivered on various manufacturing philosophies such as Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing

The industrial visit proved to be a highly enriching experience for the students, helping them understand real-world manufacturing practices and industrial discipline. The exposure to the world's largest tower testing center was especially inspiring and aligned with the department's commitment to holistic engineering education.

This industrial visit was coordinated by Prof. Pramodkumar Borle – CDC Coordinator & Visit Coordinator, Dr. V. C. Sontake and Dr. B. S. Bhaskar of the Department, Mechanical Engineering.
