As part of the Career Development Centre's mission to enhance the professional readiness of students, the Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a guest lecture on "Career Opportunities in Mechanical Engineering" on July 18, 2025.

The session was conducted by Mr. Sagar Giri, Director of ASG Vision Pvt. Ltd., Nagpur, an esteemed industry leader with deep insights into evolving mechanical engineering career landscapes. The lecture was organized under the framework of the MoU signed between the department and ASG Vision Pvt. Ltd.

Mr. Giri covered a broad spectrum of career paths, including opportunities in design, structural and thermal analysis, and the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in the mechanical domain. He also stressed the growing relevance of interdisciplinary knowledge and adaptability in a rapidly changing technological environment.

A total of 46 students from the 7th semester attended the session and actively participated in the Q&A round. The lecture provided valuable industry perspectives, clarified career planning doubts, and motivated students to explore modern tools and technologies alongside their core curriculum.

The Department expresses its sincere gratitude to Mr. Sagar Giri for his valuable contribution and looks forward to more such fruitful collaborations under the ongoing MoU with ASG Vision Pvt. Ltd.
