An Alumni talk of alumnus Mr. Deeptanarayan Paul  (2016 Batch) working as Senior Engineer, Indian Oil Adani Gas Ltd, Durgapur, West Bengal was conducted on 1st July 2025 for the final year students of Mechanical Engineering.

Mr. Deeptanarayan Paul guided the students about the career opportunities for mechanical engineers after qualifying GATE or pursuing M.Tech. He has discussed various skills required to be learned during graduation to choose this career path. He has also discussed how college curriculum, academic environment and facilities he used during his graduation days to develop the skills acquired. He also explained various alternatives to take up the job at PSU like Indian Oil Adani Gas Ltd.
