Parent Teacher Interaction

The Department of Information Technology conducted a Parent Teacher Interaction (PTI) on April 19th, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM, specifically for the parents of 4th, 6th, and 8th semester students.

The session began with Dr. M.V. Bramhe, Head of the Department, who presented the key highlights and recent initiatives of both the Institute and the Department. He emphasized the importance of academic excellence and skill development activities. Updates were shared regarding placements, internships, and academic performance.

Additionally, parents were briefed about transportation initiatives such as the exclusive metro and NMC bus services started for SVPCET students.

Outstanding students who excelled in the ESE exams of the odd Semester 2024-25 & MSE exam of even sem 2024-25 were felicitated with medals in the Imprentia program, accompanied by their proud parents, immediately following the PTI.

The session included valuable suggestions from parents aimed at departmental growth and improvement. This was followed by visits to classrooms and laboratories, where parents expressed appreciation for the teaching-learning process, departmental discipline, and the 100% internship placement provided by the department.

With a turnout of 33 parents, the event was smoothly coordinated by Dr. Priti S. Uparkar  and faculty members of the IT department. A feedback form was distributed, and refreshments were served, creating a collaborative environment for meaningful interaction focused on student development.
