'Parent-Teacher Interaction' B.Tech. Second Semester 2024-25

The Department of Engineering, Sciences & Humanities organized a Parent-Teacher Interaction (PTI) on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The event aimed to felicitate the toppers of the End Semester Examination (SEM I – Winter 2024) and counsel students who had failed in three or more subjects in either the End Semester or Mid Semester Examination of SEM II.
The program began with a welcome address by Dr. Fr. Paul Chandrankunnel, Director of the Institute, who emphasized the importance of regular attendance, skill development, and academic excellence. The first two rank holders from each section were felicitated, followed by the top three overall performers who received cash awards. The ceremony, held at the Multi-Facility Center, was compered by Ms. Ruchira Bhoyar (First Year Sec I – EE) and concluded with the National Anthem.
After the felicitation, parents had one-on-one interactions with class counselors, co-counselors, and subject teachers to discuss their ward's academic performance, attendance, and involvement in co-curricular activities. Students with three or more backlogs met their respective Academic Coordinators and the HoD for further guidance and support, along with their parents.
A total of 149 students' parents attended the PTI, with an overall footfall of 270. Parents expressed their appreciation and provided constructive feedback through the feedback forms. The session concluded with refreshments for all attendees.
The event was successfully coordinated by Mrs. Prachi Pande and Mr. Indrajeet Varhadpande, with dedicated support from the class counselors, co-counselors, the ES&H faculty team, and student volunteers. Special thanks are extended to Dr. Sucheta Moharir (HoD), Dr. Rajashree Anwane (Academic Coordinator – Group I), and Dr. Ashish Bodhaye (Academic Coordinator – Group II) for their continued support.
