Department of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), in association with the Career Development Cell (CDC), St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology (SVPCET), Nagpur.

The Department of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), SVPCET, Nagpur, organized an industrial visit to the National Academy of Defence Production (NADP), Ambajhari, Nagpur, on 19 October 2026 for the seventh-semester IIoT students. A total of 59 students participated in the visit, accompanied by Dr. M. A. Hayat and Dr. A. Pardhi.

During the visit, students were introduced to NADP's Post Graduate Diploma Management programme, its academic and professional training activities, and its role in developing managerial and technical competencies relevant to the defence production sector. The students also explored a showcase of various munitions, defence equipment, and associated technological exhibits, gaining valuable insights into defence manufacturing and related engineering applications.

The visit provided an opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning with real-world industrial practices and understand the importance of technology, precision engineering, manufacturing processes, and interdisciplinary skills in the defence sector. The experience broadened their understanding of career opportunities and professional development in defence production and allied industries.

The industrial visit was organized in association with the Career Development Cell (CDC), SVPCET, with the objective of promoting experiential learning, industry exposure, and career awareness among students.
