The Civil Engineering Department of St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, successfully organized a comprehensive 6 days training program on TEKLA Software, tailored for final-year Civil Engineering students. The program was organized from 11 October 2026 to 16 October 2026. Renowned industry expert, Mrs. Jaya Thool, Project Manager in Steel detailing, from Production Modelling India, Nagpur was the main resource person. She was accompanied by Mr. Himanshu Charde, Senior Project Manager in Steel detailing, Mr. Akshay Munghate, Team Leader in Steel detailing, Mr. Vikrant Mate, Detailer in Steel detailing and Mr. Saurabh Charde, Junior Steel Detailer in Steel detailing, who conducted the training sessions on rotational basis.

The valedictory ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Yogesh Deshpande, HR, Head, PMI, Nagpur, Dr. Pramod B. Lanjewar, Dean (Academics), SVPCET and Dr. Abhay G. Hirekhan, Head of the Civil Engineering Department, SVPCET. During the ceremony, the trainers distributed training completion certificates to top 5 best performing candidates and also awarded them with gift prizes, emphasizing the significance of this training in enhancing employability and internship opportunities.
