The Department of Vocation (B.VOC), St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, organized an Alumni Expert Talk on “Artificial Intelligence in Industry: Applications, Trends and Opportunities” on 11th August 2026, from 2:15 PM to 4:15 PM at F-12.

The session was conducted with the objective of providing students with practical insights into the growing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in industry, its real-world applications, emerging trends, and career opportunities. The session was delivered by alumni experts and co- founder Tensei Tech, namely Khijendra Digore, Rohit Chunarkar, and, Vedant Nandanwar, who were alumna of batch 2024 and batch 2025 shared their industry experiences and perspectives on the adoption of AI in various domains.

The experts discussed the current applications of AI, industry trends, and opportunities for students, and the skills required to build a successful career in the field. The interactive nature of the session encouraged students to understand how academic knowledge can be connected with real-world industry requirements.

More than 75 students participated in the session and actively engaged with the speakers through discussions and interactions. The session provided valuable exposure to students, motivating them to explore AI technologies and prepare themselves for emerging career opportunities.

The event was successfully coordinated by the Department of Vocation (B.VOC) under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator Prof. Aditya Khandare. Overall, the session was informative, interactive, and beneficial for the participating students.
