Employability and Placement Guidance Session

An alumni interaction session was conducted on 18/7/2026, by the Department of Information Technology to guide students on employability and placement preparation. The session was delivered by Mr. Harshal Aglawe, an alumnus of the 2026 Batch. He is currently working as an Intern Technology at TruliaCare India. The topic of the session was "Employability and Placement Guidance Session." Mr. Aglawe shared his journey from being a student to securing an internship cum job in the IT industry. He highlighted the importance of developing strong technical fundamentals and problem-solving skills. He emphasized regular coding practice, aptitude preparation, and effective communication as essential for placement success. Students were encouraged to build quality projects and maintain an updated resume and professional online profile. He also discussed common interview questions, group discussion strategies, and technical interview preparation techniques. Around 60 students actively participated and benefited from the interactive discussion and Q&A session. The alumni interaction session was successfully coordinated by Prof. Nilesh Dhannaseth and Dr. P. Uparkar from the Department of Information Technology. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth planning and successful execution of the session, providing students with a valuable opportunity to interact with an industry professional. The session significantly enhanced students' understanding of employability skills, placement preparation, and current industry expectations.
