Sankalp Bharat: National-Level Hackathon 2026
The Zenith Forum and Computer Society of India (CSI), Department of Computer Science & Engineering, in association with the III Cell of St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering & Technology, Nagpur, successfully organized Sankalp Bharat, a 24-hour National-Level Hackathon.
The hackathon received an overwhelming response from across the country, with 231 teams comprising 1008 participants registering for the competition. Following a rigorous multi-stage screening process, the top 30 teams consisting of 138 participants were shortlisted for the final on-campus round. Students from reputed institutions such as IIIT Nagpur, MIT Aurangabad, The NorthCap University (Gurgaon), Francis Xavier Engineering College (Tamil Nadu), AIKTC Navi Mumbai, MCOERC Nashik, and several other institutes participated in the event.
The hackathon was sponsored by Infocepts, Everse.AI, and BSNL, in collaboration with React Nagpur and Unstop. The event was graced by distinguished guests including Mr. Kulwinder Singh (Marketing Head, Infocepts), Mr. Vaibhav Wagh (Senior Software Developer, Everse.AI), Mr. Sunil Narware (CSR Head, Infocepts), and Mr. Rimachand Kale (CSR Lead, Infocepts).
Team CoinToss (IIIT Nagpur) emerged as the winner and received a cash prize of ₹30,000. Team Codex (IIIT Nagpur) secured the first runner-up position with ₹20,000, while Team Terranexus (Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology & Research, Amravati) secured the second runner-up position and received ₹10,000.
The event was coordinated by student coordinators Sayali Bambal, Sahil Shrivastava, Parth Lonkar and Mohit Telang, faculty coordinators Prof. Vaibhav Deshpande, Prof. Kavita Meshram under the mentorship of Dr. Manoj V. Bramhe, HOD CSE.
