SVPCET Organizes CHE 4.0: A Transformative Leadership Workshop for School Educators
St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, successfully organized the fourth edition of its flagship educators’ initiative — Cultivating Human Excellence 4.0 (CHE 4.0) — on 9th May 2026. Designed exclusively for school principals, teachers, academic leaders, and mentors, the workshop focused on the theme “Leadership as Architecture: Designing Institutions that Outlast Individuals.”
The programme witnessed an overwhelming response from the academic community, bringing together over 144 educators in offline mode and 49 educators online. The workshop also saw the participation of 43 Principals from reputed schools and institutions. While a large number of delegates represented schools from Nagpur, participants also joined from regions such as Balaghat, Amravati, and Chandrapur, adding a wider regional dimension to this year’s edition of CHE.
The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony and the presentation of Lifetime Achievement Awards, to Dr. Pandharipande and Mrs. Mukta Chatterjee honouring their exceptional contribution to education, mentorship, and social development. The atmosphere of the inaugural session reflected the spirit of gratitude, inspiration, and institutional excellence that formed the core of the workshop.
The programme was graced by Dr. Bhimaraya Metri, Director, IIM Nagpur. The Chief Guest was formally introduced by the Principal of the college, Dr. Vijay Wadhai. Dr. Metri delivered a powerful keynote address on leadership, institutional growth, and the importance of creating value-driven educational ecosystems. Drawing from his extensive academic and administrative experience, Dr. Metri emphasized the role of educators as architects of society and highlighted the need for educational institutions to cultivate resilience, ethics, innovation, and human-centered leadership.
The participants were further inspired during the Director’s Power Talk delivered by Dr. Fr. Paul Chandrankunnel, Director of SVPCET, who spoke about the institution’s commitment towards holistic education, human excellence, and building meaningful collaborations with schools and educators.
The workshop also featured mentor remarks by Mrs. Neeru Kapai and Mrs. Kana Roy Chaudhary, whose reflections on lifelong learning, purposeful leadership, and personal growth resonated deeply with the audience.
One of the major highlights of CHE 4.0 was the Focus Talk and Panel Discussion Session, which brought together eminent educators and thought leaders including Mrs. Bharti Bijwe, Mrs. Abha Meghe, Dr. Mrunalini Dasture, and Mrs. Biji George. The session was moderated by Mrs. Mukta Chatterjee and revolved around themes such as sustainable leadership, mentorship, institutional culture, teacher empowerment, and the changing dynamics of education in the modern era.
The panel discussion was followed by an engaging interaction and question-answer session where participants actively shared perspectives, challenges, and experiences from their respective institutions. The meaningful exchange of ideas created an atmosphere of collaboration, reflection, and professional enrichment.
Post lunch, the programme concluded with a highly engaging activity-based session conducted by Mrs. Reena Dargan. Through interactive exercises and reflective activities, participants explored practical dimensions of communication, collaboration, and leadership, making the concluding session both energizing and impactful.
The overall feedback received from participants was overwhelmingly positive, with educators appreciating the relevance, organization, depth of discussions, and practical insights shared during the workshop. Many participants described CHE 4.0 as a refreshing and meaningful professional development experience that blended inspiration, reflection, and actionable learning.
Through initiatives like CHE 4.0, SVPCET continues to strengthen its commitment towards educational leadership, institutional collaboration, and the holistic development of educators and learners alike.
