30-Hour Industrial Training Program at Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd.

The Department of Electrical Engineering organized a 30-hour industrial training program at Hitachi India Pvt. Ltd. for sixth-semester students, conducted under the Process Automation Engineering Group (PAEG) from 29 to 31 March 2026. The training was arranged as part of handholding support for the upcoming Hitachi IIoT Lab, which is planned for multidisciplinary use across various departments. The course, titled “Training on Hitachi Control System and HX Controller,” was delivered by industry experts Mr. Vivek Tiwari (Assistant Manager), Mr. Sushil Dhote (Senior Executive), and Mr. Shubham Paliwal (Assistant Manager).

The program provided students with in-depth exposure to control systems and industrial automation, enhancing their technical knowledge and practical understanding. Through this training, students gained valuable insights into handling IIoT-based projects, which will support innovation, research-oriented learning, and the development of industry-relevant skills. The experience is expected to play a significant role in preparing students for multidisciplinary careers in modern industrial environments by strengthening their hands-on competencies.
