Industrial Visit – Bajaj Engineering Skill Training Centre

The Department of Electrical Engineering organized an industrial visit for 6th-semester students on 27th February, 2026 to the Bajaj Engineering Skill Training Centre, Bajaj Institute of Technology, Wardha. A total of 42 students participated, accompanied by Dr. Prafull M. Tarwatkar (Faculty Coordinator) and Prof. Sumant A. Sarmokadam (Faculty Co-Coordinator).

The visit aimed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial practices, with objectives including exposure to industrial technologies, understanding automation and robotics, exploring applications of AI/ML, AR, and VR, and gaining insights into PLC systems, hydraulic technologies, and advanced sensor applications. Additionally, the visit sought to familiarize students with Industry 4.0 skill requirements and career opportunities.

During the visit, students observed real-time industrial operations, engaged with professionals, and attended demonstrations of automation systems, robotics, and sensor technologies. The session also highlighted internship opportunities available at the training centre and emphasized the value of industry-academia collaboration in preparing students for future careers.

The outcomes included enhanced understanding of advanced technological applications, strengthened awareness of career pathways in emerging industries, and improved ability to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical implementation.

Overall, the industrial visit proved to be an enriching experience, broadening students’ technical horizons and motivating them to develop essential skills for the evolving industrial landscape.
