The Department of B.VOC Cyber Security organized an industrial visit to Softsense Technoserve (India) Private Limited, Nagpur, on 26th February 2026 from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A total of 20 students from the 4th semester Cyber Security participated under the guidance of Faculty Coordinator Dr. Swati Mirlekar.

Students visited India’s first physical Cyber Range Lab, which also functions as a Smart City Cyber Simulation Center. Mr. Suraj Pawar conducted an informative session explaining cyberattack simulations, defense mechanisms, IoT security, and real-time incident response. Live demonstrations of phishing, ransomware, and network attacks provided valuable hands-on exposure to practical cyber security operations.

The department expresses sincere gratitude to Dr. Vishal Lichade, Founder & CEO, for facilitating this insightful industry interaction. The visit offered students meaningful practical exposure and strengthened their understanding of real-world cybersecurity challenges.
