An industrial visit to Kapilansh Dhatu Udyog Pvt. Ltd., Khairy, Kamptee, was organised on 17th January 2026 for 40 students of the 4th and 6th semesters of Mechanical Engineering. The visit was conducted under the supervision of Dr. Manish Bhadke, Dr. Brijendra Singh Bhaskar, Prof. Shantanu Kolharkar, Prof. Sandhya Umre, and Prof. Anthony Augustine.

During the visit, students were introduced to the company’s advanced manufacturing processes, including alloy melting, casting, metallurgical quality control, and machining. Industry experts provided detailed demonstrations of furnace operations, centrifugal casting, and product inspection methods. Students gained insights into real-world industrial workflows, safety protocols, and modern metallurgical production equipment.

The visit significantly enhanced students’ practical understanding of industrial metallurgy and mechanical engineering applications. It also strengthened their awareness of industry expectations and emerging technologies. Overall, the visit was highly informative and beneficial for academic and professional development.
