The Department of Basic Sciences & Humanities organized the ‘PARENT-TEACHER INTERACTION’ on 28th October, 2017. Parents arrived from 9.00 am onwards. Lead by student volunteers they completed the registration process, were handed the mark sheet of their ward along with the academic calendar and University exam time table.
A short felicitation program was held which began with prayer followed by welcome dance, Address by Fr. George Madeikkal, felicitation of Toppers of Sessional I and alumnus, Mr. Ankur Deshmukh shared his past experience as a Tech Pallotine and now as a professional.
Thereafter, parents along with their wards were guided to meet respective class counsellors and subject teachers. Special emphasis was given to those students who performed below expectation, these students along with their parents were directed to the subject teachers for counselling. At the end parents were asked to fill a feedback form and refreshments were served.
The PTI received an overwhelming response with total 261 students and 479 parents present.
Suggestions given by parents are under consideration for further action and implementation.
