The College organised ‘Mentoring Program- First Year, A. Y. 18-19’, on 4th August, with the aim of encouraging students to excel in academics.
Rev. Fr. Dr. Paul Chandrankunnel (Director), addressed students to strive towards this goal with full determination and diligence, further highlighting plans for the Annual Session 2018-19. Prof. Abhranil Banerjee, Faculty Coordinator of the program, briefed students about scholarships/awards and recognitions given to students who perform exceptionally well in academics. This was followed with a presentation given by students (Final Yr.), who recently underwent a summer internship program at Harrisburg University, USA.
Thereafter, Dr. Surendra Gole (Principal), motivated students to realise their potential and be focused in achieving their dreams with great zeal. Later, Mr. Rahul Kavishwar, University topper in the 2nd Year interacted with students and shared his journey of achievement. Prof. Sonia Francis enlightened them on the topic – ‘Student & Teacher-Student Connect’.
At the end, students with great delight, and filled with desire to excel, came forward and gave a positive feedback of the Mentoring Program. This was followed by an informal interaction with senior student mentors over a cup of coffee.
