Solidarity Foundation: A Tech Pallottine Initiative
Solidarity Foundation-A Tech Pallottine initiative was inaugurated with the primary objective of making citizens aware of the sacrifices our young men make to protect us. The Foundation also aims to connect with the families of martyrs. Many students have registered themselves as members of this Foundation.
Pallottines Shine at YUVARANG 2012
The Students of SVPCET proved themselves yet again in the YUVARANG festival 2012-13 organized by RTMNU by achieving 1st position in group folk dance category . Nimmy George , 8th semester student won the 1st position in classical solo dance category. The students also secured the 3rd position in One Act play under the drama category.

On 4th October, 2011 on the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, His Grace Rev. Abraham Viruthakulangara blessed and inaugurated the newly built Grotto of our Lady of Lourdes and the Assisi garden in the premises of the MSSFA Girls’ Hostel at SVPCET. The aesthetically built garden has at its center the statue of their patron, St Francis of Assisi. A large number of guests and the hostel inmates participated in the celebration of the Eucharist and the Agape the followed.

On completion of the laying of the optical fiber cable by the BSNL , the Campus Wi Fi was re-commissioned with new routers installed at Fathers residence, NPS Boys Hostel and at MSSFA Girls’ hostel. In a simple ceremony held on 28th October , the System was blessed by the Chairman of the Nagpur Pallottine Society , Fr. Augustine Varickackal . While Fr. Renewable Energy Club of our College organized a poster competition on 29th August to commemorate the Rajiv Gandhi Akshay Urja Divas (20th August). The topic for the poster competition Energy Saved is Energy Generated, was in sync with the main theme REJUVENATE, to create awareness among the students about the problem of global warming & all that is at stake due to it.
